we ordered a couple of takeouts a night ago. the two salads were really refreshing. I loved the edgy sauce. the taste of ye tibs firfir and doro wot was amazing, but there was only a single hit in the doro wot. it was too little chicken for full size escape my mind. they give a huge amount injera that is good. the proportion of the total shell is however for doro wot. the owner was really nice and the food was delicious, but slightly disappointed by the Doro-Wettbe. otherwise I would have rated this place 5 stars.

first order here and let me tell them not to sleep on them! absolutely delicious and fresh. in addition, the customer service was excellent. I ordered takeout, the selection of her Veggie replacement plate (collard greens, lenses, etc) and I could not wait to bring it home to enjoy. the part is good enough for two people or for two meal times for 17 after. worth every cent. go after him and don't look back.
Wonderfully authentic, and if you go family style you get a huge flat dish with all the individual portions scattered around in a gorgeous riot of muted colors. Unbelievably tasty. The menu is a little overwhelming but the waitstaff though stern looking knew her stuff and was helpful. The V1, V2, and V3 choices were terrific. Fish only on Fridays and Saturdays. Milwaukee has a couple of good Ethiopian food locations and this is one I have been here a few times and enjoyed their food to quite an extent.
We have been there for dinner, food quality was good. But it tasted similar to Indian cuisine. Ambiance was ok. Good service.
