A long time ago I wanted to visit this restaurant. Reservation by telephone 5 minutes from the place on Saturday 12h. The cook and in front of the door and finishes his cigarette... We see his clothes clearly: very dirty. We're getting in, the carpet is tapped with dirt and deserves a blow of aspirator in front of the shot! The welcome is pleasant, the fast service. Put in the mouth, I took a bite to the thighs of frogs :correct. Follow 2 mice of lamb accompanied by swarm pdt of the minimum eve, Idem mushroom fricassée, all served without any heat. What a shame! Oh, yes, when you're lucky enough to have large windows that let a beautiful sun pass, you take care to wash them...
It's the second time I'm going to have lunch with my friends and this second experience confirms the first. Warm welcome in a well located restaurant, with easy parking, and beautifully decorated. It's not cold, it's beautiful, it smells good. The staff is pleasant and professional. The boss is smiling and available. The kitchen is delicious and hearty. Flat or dessert dish 17€ Despair dish 20€ But I think these rates only apply to weekdays. Today I took velvety of zucchini and her egg mullet, then a back of place with the chef's sauce, purée and stirred with small mushroom peas, and to finish a rum banana pie... Everything was delicious. I recommend and return my eyes closed
Very disappointed. We arrived at 12:30 and on the 3 dishes of the map, there was only one dish, a fish parmenter with all the fish crumbs remaining from the week in a very drunk purée. Same for dessert, there was only one proposal on both. We are offered a pie to replace the crumble, it was not totally defrosted!!!! It was a test that we will not renew.
Let's be clear what's in the plate is good. However, the presentation of foie gras is no longer austere or more basic: foie gras and toast, point. And presenting nuts of holy jacques in dried plates in several places is surprising. Geste sympathetic in honour of the lady's birthday, but in the future make sure before the gentleman is present.

this restaurant bears its name well... it's excellent .and that to say managers and waitress .. super nice people . we are in the Vosges and it's our daughter who advised us .. of course we will return.
I went there without negative or positive advice. Sincerely, I will return my eyes closed! Everything was very good, hearty. And in bonus, a digestive offered at the end, we loved !!!!
Excellent cuisine, employee and very friendly chef. Flats very well presented, sufficient quantity. Very good quality. I recommend. This restaurant bears its name EXCELLENT!
We usually love Alexandra's cuisine, dishes of very good quality .... A gourmet coffee a tuerie) I will come back without hesitation, soon Philippe and Alexandre.

Very nice welcome. Beautiful slate and especially good dishes. We recommend strongly.The weather allowed us to enjoy the terrass.
