I travel a lot for work which means I am frequently dining alone so if I find a place which has seats at the bar, good chats, an amazing selection of local beers/spirits/wines, great food and on point service, I tend to return. Alfreds has all these things so yeah, I was hear quite a bit during my recent Perth stint. The pizzas here are really good and you can get them by the slice if you're not to keen on scarfing down a whole one and the staff are knowledgeable and great at reading the crowd. The place is tiny but manages to not feel overcrowded.
Boys afternoon/evening out in town - one of the group suggested we go here as he heard good things about this place. I would never have guessed. What a find. Great atmosphere, good selection of drinks, and they boast to having the best pizza's in Perth - and I now tend to agree with them. The music choices was not main stream - but was sooooooooo good. Tick, tick and tick on all accounts. Great couple of hours spend here before moving on - but will definately be back!
I have been here a couple of times before & attended again on Monday evening. I love the theme and decor at this place, they have a decent drinks selection and the pizzas are awesome. 3 of us attended & we had a pizza each, coming in at $54 for 3 pizzas which i think is very reasonable for CBD and Perth. The pizzas were authentic & filling. some of the party had to take some home. No hesitation in recommending Alfred's!.
Was the third stop on a pub crawl (or was that 4th?) Anyway, just go here. Pizza and atmosphere are great! I had 2 Rocky pizzas which I admit is unimaginative but the first was SO good! Wow, what a great surprise. Some of the best pizza I have had in ages including the gluten free bases and flavour plus toppings. This is a gem in the Perth CBD! Highly recommend The Fonz and Betty Rizzo.
We ordered take away gluten free pizza and it was on par with the best GF pizza I've ever had. Delicious homemade pizza bases and decent delivery time. I had the Fonz and would highly recommend it.
I visited on a random Monday evening with my husband and 2 sons and was treated to possibly the yummiest pizza ever and fab Sauv Blanc. Great atmosphere even on a Monday!
