I have to agree with the previous customer. Food and service were terrible. The drinks were very expensive and overloaded with ice. The prices were unusually elevated for this landfill. What the owners think I felt like I was in a third country waiting for the cook to slaughter a farm animal in the foyer. My soup had a hair in it and the waitress blamed that it happened before! Recommend this place or the Tiki bar in the back it was rose and most disturbing dirt on the ground. Will never stay on Fairbanks again if this is what they are on the grounds for their guests, YUCK!
My boyfriend and I were staying at the Fairbanks and decided to try the restaurant there. A very pleasant surprise The food is delicious. I had the fried calamari and the crab cakes they were excellent and large portions. My boyfriend had mussels and the veal chop. the garlic mashed potatoes were wonderful and the side of vegetables were cooked perfectly. The servers are young but very attentive. I would definitely go back there to eat.
I was not surprisd the food was below par especially since they were looking for a new chef on the outside sign. Do not recommend you feed the leftovers to crabs. Service was just as bad and the waitress had no clue about the items on the menu. The owner should rethink about staying in this business. Maybe when they hire a new chef things would improve until then go up the street to Dockside
I absolutely love this place! The manager was fantastic and the food was delicious. However, I didn't appreciate the rowdy group by the pool area who brought their own beer and liquor, and even set up a barbecue in the parking lot. They acted like they were the life of the party, but it really detracted from the atmosphere. If you're trying to save money, maybe it's best to just stay home!

I cannot recommend this restaurant. The food was excessively salty, and the wait for our meals was incredibly long. Service was poor overall. The manager on duty that evening was rude and unhelpful, appearing to stay in the back to avoid dealing with issues. The servers also seemed to lack teamwork and there was noticeable tension among them while customers waited for their orders.
