However, when I got home, my family tried it, and we were pleasantly surprised by how amazing this rice cake was. It’s made in the traditional style with banana leaves. The cake has a wonderfully light texture, is moist, and contains a generous amount of cheese throughout, adding a delightful contrast. It's not overly sweet, but just right.
We devoured the cake and wished we had bought more than one! Based on this experience, I definitely plan to return, and while we’re there, we’ll likely order additional dishes, which have historically been quite good.
I've been meaning to write a review for this place. Delicious food and they make you feel like you're family. I never write reviews and lately if I do, it's for bad service. I'm glad to write a great review finally for a place that deserves it. I will always support them when we're in the area, and wouldn't consider another Filipino restaurant when we're in San Francisco.
I ordered from Uber Eats and was really disappointed. The menudo was quite bland, and the garlic rice didn’t have that fried texture I was expecting—it was just plain rice with garlic added. Overall, it was a letdown.

I absolutely adore this family-owned Filipino restaurant. I used to visit frequently when I worked nearby. The staff is always friendly, and the food never disappoints. I especially love their bibingka!
A delightful experience reminiscent of home-cooked meals! The portion sizes could be larger to match the price, but the flavors definitely compensate for it. I highly recommend this place!
This spot is offering take out service on New Years Eve and food tastes great, easy ordering process over the phone and accepts cash payment...wish most restaurant have these...
Food is great been going here since I was in high school.The lady that runs Alidos is a super nice lady. She makes the best tosilog ever.
