on a stormy day, there is nothing like sitting with a warm fire, chatting with their neighbours and enjoying hadock chips with handmade tartaric acid sauce and perfectly pleasant baptism. the tasteful, freshly roasted squid was on the outside crisp and firm and fluffy on the...inside the super friendly and enthusiastic staff wore big smiles and was ready to chat and provide information about the opposite. the handmade tartaric acid sauce had a creamy consistency, free taste and came in a reusable, washable sose cup. the meal also came with butter bread. the art deco style of the interieur was charming and well maintained, which made the historical facility very attractive. even the old fashi...
Alan's Snack Bar is an absolute gem, and my recent visit was made even more delightful thanks to the amazing Cameron in the kitchen. His dedication and warmth truly shone through in the delicious dishes he prepared. The atmosphere was fantastic, and it was a truly memorable day. I can't recommend this place enough! Just had a sausage supper and my son had a portion of chips. Happily answered my question about allergies (thank you) and the service was friendly and fast. The chips were delicious, crisp on outside and fluffy inside. Sausages were coated with just enough batter, not too greasy either. Best chippy in Paisley!
This is a great little cafe which is attached to a fish and chip shop. You will be served traditional food, which I can honestly say is among the best chip shop grub in the entire country! The prices are very reasonable, the service is warm and friendly and the decor is fantastic! Well worth a visit!
