Second time dining here with the family. The food was just as good as the first time. We started with the cheese dip. It has a little kick but it goes great with the house made chips. My. Wife had the steak nachos (again) i had the catfish poboy with some onion rings. Kids went a little crazy and got chicken and fries . Everything came out hot and delicious. Under normal circumstances service could have been a little better but in their defence THEY GOT BUSY. All in all good stuff. SUPPORT LOCAL BUSINESS AND TIP YOUR WAIT STAFF. If they cant pay their bills they WILL NOT be there next time.....Tipped 30
Sometimes, you just crave a meal from a family-run restaurant. You know, the kind where the owner aims to serve delicious, affordable dishes that taste like something you could make if you had the time and skills. The lunch specials truly stand out: meatloaf, chicken fried chicken, catfish—they're all excellent. Even the chicken nachos were fantastic, which is something I never expected to say in a restaurant review. The staff genuinely cares and treats you like a valued guest. A good friend recommended this place to me, and I think you should give it a try.
I had not been there since they moved from Shackleford. The food was amazing, and the service was outstanding. The ladies that help serve the food were so kind, friendly and helpful just awesome. Oh don’t let me for get about the owner Mr. Hue. He greeted everyone, he worked the room making sure that everyone was satisfied, holding small conversation to make you feel comfortable. My new spot. I had a great experience there. I will be back, until the next time Alley Oops.
The first visit to this wonderful restaurant in a long time. We met family there and shared a fantastic meal. This was one of the best hamburgers I have ever had. They side of fries were very well seasoned. Two in our party ordered the chicken finger basket and loved it. We also got the Chicken Quesadilla, with all of the fixings. Then, with a little prompting from our server, we had a slice of delicious Key Lime pie and a piece of coconut pie.

Went here during lunch. It was very busy and was greeted very warnly and seated. I typically have the daily special of meatloaf or catfish. But decided on the chicken salad. It was fantastic and super fresh. Finished it off with one of their homemade desserts (blackberry cobbler) which was amazing. All around consistently good food at a reasonable price with good service.
I had a fantastic experience during my first visit to this restaurant! I opted for the Wednesday lunch special, which included grilled chicken, broccoli, rice, and a dinner roll, and after tax, the total was only $11.04! What an incredible price! The staff was attentive without being intrusive, allowing me to enjoy my meal in peace. I can't wait to return!
Wow, the food was amazing! The service was excellent, making sure we were well taken care of. The portions were quite generous, and everything tasted delightful. I ordered the daily special, which was meatloaf, and it was superb!
eating is always amazing and great customer service. they get a lot of food with lunch specialties. sometimes I'm just coming for a Sm dinner salad.

The brunch on Saturdays is not to be missed. Every menu item is delicious and satisfying. Desserts are a specialty, also.
