Came in for lunch on a weekday and they were moderately busy, which is good to see. Lived in the area for many years and this was my first time ever coming here. I love BBQ and smoked meats, but never heard rave reviews about this place, so when I had the opportunity to try it recently, I did. Service was friendly and helpful. The menu is interesting with lots of fried food, such as fried hot dogs and hamburgers (never heard of a fried hamburger) and the brisket plate I got was chopped brisket which was sauced. We ordered the brisket with an extra portion and the pork with an extra portion, and for our sides, we tried the fries, hush puppies, mac and cheese, baked beans, cornbread, and onion rings. I must say, everything was absolutely delicious! The portions are quite generous; we have plenty left over for dinner tomorrow night. Not only is the food fantastic, but the service is also excellent! Our server kindly gave our dog a pork bone since she was pulling pork, which was a lovely touch, and she also brought us additional BBQ sauces to sample. I would definitely return here!
I decided to visit Allmans on a whim, as I had been craving St. Louis ribs. They were delightful—well-seasoned and not overly sauced. I was given all four sauces to taste, and they were all good. However, there were a couple of downsides: six small bones cost $21, and while they may appear substantial in the picture, they were quite lacking in meat. I wouldn't have minded the price if the ribs had been larger. Additionally, there was no bread included with the meal. If the ribs had more meat, I would have happily given it a 5-star rating.
As a Texan, I typically prepare myself to be let down by barbecue in this part of the country, but I was pleasantly surprised to have one of the best pulled pork sandwiches I've ever tasted. The coleslaw was spot on too. You can enjoy a meal here for less than what you'd spend at most fast food joints, making the prices fantastic. Amazing family atmosphere. Parking on location and on the street. Seats indoors and outdoors with booths and the classic bar inside. This place feels like a warm hug when eating there. I am very happy to recommend it to others. Food has large servings of delicious food. They really have something for everyone. Of course, amazing BBQ but also dogs and their deep fried burger. Desserts, too, are amazing, and they offer a selection of local homemade brownies, too.
Delicious! The staff was very welcoming and attentive. The vibe of the restaurant is very small town feel. Prices are reasonable. Lots of outdoor seating to bring your dog and water bowls available for them.
I've eaten here all my life and my family has since before I was born. I don't know who the new owners are, but every time I go now the food is fantastic and great portions and service.

We've loved this place for forever. Any time I drive on 95 stopping is mandatory. The people are great and the BBQ is delicious!
