Our first time. Unfortunately hostess was rude which wasn’t a good start. She initially went to seat us on the patio, being cold and wet we requested a table inside. Then she tried to seat us at a hightop. We asked for a regular table. She said those were reserved for people with reservations. We pointed out we actually in fact had a reservation ourselves not to mention place was empty. Marching us back to the hostess stand. With attitude she finally sat us at a booth which we requested when we first walked in the door. Throughout the dinner we noticed her doing the exact same thing to five more couples. Alma Cocina was absolutely amazing. I went yesterday for the first time for a friend and we were impressed with everything. It was Cinco De Mayo, so I'm not sure if specials will continue past what we had yesterday but we were floored by the entire place. Our waitress was amazing from start to finish and recommended the barbacoa quesadilla and the shrimp tacos. Their drinks are great quality and well-balanced! We also had the Pineapple Xpress shots and they were to die for! I have never had a shot that I thoroughly enjoyed. We had another round because we loved them so much! Alma Cocina is definitely the place to be!
Food and ambiance were excellent. Went for a birthday lunch and everyone loved the salsas and guac, along with the various street taco plates. Food was colorful and full of flavor and service was spot-on. Parking in the deck was easier than expected too and validation made it free. Highly recommend!
We enjoy dinig at Alma Cocina. The food is good and the service as well. I got the steak taco and my wife got the shrimp tacos. They were great! Both my wife and I thought that the black beans and the rice sides could have had more flavor. They were somewhat bland.

Everything was wonderful but the food seemed a little off this visit. The entrees were a little soggy and cold but otherwise still a good experience. We will try again. Great atmosphere in the restaurant and the manager is a cool guy!
The food was simply amazing!! Love the fact that there were plenty vegetarian options for my friend!! The food is well worth the money and the margaritas are bomb!! We practically tried the entire menu. Everything was AMAZING!!!
