I had the fish with shrimp, and it was excellent! The view was stunning, and the sauces were delicious. The shrimp were crispy and truly jumbo, just as advertised. Yes, it’s a bit pricier than you'd expect, but the quality and freshness are definitely worth it. The fish was very good—crispy on the outside and flaky on the inside, although I think they could change the oil more frequently as it looked a bit dark. At $29, it’s not cheap, but you get an amazing view and perfectly fried food. Overall, it was so good, and the fries were great too. A+!
The staff was incredibly friendly, and there were plenty of items to browse through. The establishment includes a small gift shop, a seafood market, and a restaurant where you place your order at the seafood counter. While the prices are not the lowest, you definitely get what you pay for in terms of quality. The deep-fried clams were absolutely delicious and made fresh at the time of order.
The food was excellent. I had a gluten free lobster roll, my husband had the lobster poutine, and we shared the gluten free fundy scallops and haddock with fries. We've eaten at two other restaurants in Alma, NB this week. The food was by far the most delicious, and the lobster was the most reasonably priced at the Alma Lobster Shop.
The fried clams are absolutely amazing—light, crispy, and incredibly tasty. The lobster roll is packed with a generous serving of lobster, making it truly mouthwatering. Staff is amazing I mean knowledgeable,super friendly and willing to stop and talk. If your going to be in Alma you should know the place to visit first and last both is right here at alma lobster shop. Beautiful very private beach to enjoy as well. Makes the visit to alma unforgettable..
So worth a stop! Great service, great staff, and wonderful art. Walked in for supper and got completely distracted by the art. Bought the best lobster roll and a whole bunch of fantastic paintings. Can't wait to visit again next year!
The cold 1.5 lb lobster was great! So was the hot, but the cold is the way to go. Fresh, large selections and nice staff. It can be buggy sitting outside so be prepared.
