What a great find! I know some folks had trouble in the past with the service. I can say that I had great service (29-Jul-2022) and the food was spectacular. The first thing to note is that the menu is in Swiss German, as you should expect in Sankt Gallen. If you know a bit of High German, you will have no trouble. The staff is friendly and will help you if you need it. My whole meal was amazing. I had their Appenzeller Siedwürste and it was just perfect. For dessert, I got their Alp-Himmel. For both, refer to the menu for details. To close the meal, we got Bermontis liqueur as a digestive. That's not on the menu but you should definitely ask for it.
Das Essen und die Bedienung waren einfach klasse. Leider mussten wir etwas länger auf das köstliche Essen warten. Allerdings war die Erklärung (personeller Engpass aufgrund eines Ausfalls) für uns mehr als verständlich, und wir hatten genügend Gesprächsstoff. Ich kann mich nicht erinnern, wann ich zuletzt so ein tolles Kalbscordon Bleu serviert bekommen habe, und das auch noch zu einem vernünftigen Preis. Weiter so! Ich komme wieder!
Alpenglöggli's Ambiente ist Klasse Das Steak war außergewöhnlich lecker, mit liebe gemacht und eins der wenigen die ich bis zum letzten Bissen genossen habe. Die Bedienung war sehr aufmerksam. Vor Paar Wochen hatte ich freude am Alpenglöggli Hack-tätschli und seit dem ist dieses Restaurant von der Landkarte des guten Geschmacks nicht mehr wegzudenken.
Outstanding experience!! Owner went above and beyond to make us feel at home! Opened multiple bottles of wine to make sure we found the right one! The food was exceptional in every way! I can go on and on about how wonderful this restaurant is, but my recommendation is that if you’re in the area… JUST GO, do not miss this gem!!

What a find! Cozy dining room, friendly staff, and really delicious food. Swiss specialties made with local products and the chef's own twist to take it to the next level. Prices are reasonable for Switzerland. Do give this one a try!

Gemütliches kleines Restaurant mit großartigem und preiswertem Essen. Mein persönliches Highlight war jedoch der fabelhafte, flamboyante und freundliche Kellner.
Fantastisch. Der Mann musste alleine arbeiten, da die COVID-Krise Probleme verursacht hat, aber er hat großartige Arbeit geleistet.
