The room was cozy, the wellness areas is modern and comfortable, the restaurant food is good, and all the staff is extremely friendly. They helped out with everything that we wanted to ask, as well as they could. Regarding covid safety, to me there was always enough space between different groups and everything was organised as can be expected.
We were at the Fondue Stube and had a good time. Service was good and very friendly. The fondue itself was very nice; it's prepared with cheese from the Engelberg valley so it tastes a little different from your typical fondue. The room is all wooden, very cozy. If you can, ask for a table on the main street side, the decor is nicer.
Review for the restaurant: We had a great time at the restaurant Alpenclub. It is a very welcoming atmosphere in swiss style. The food was amazing and so was the dessert. Staff was very friendly especially one young, german man. Had very great chats with him, thank you. Prices are moderate for Switzerland
The hospitality is more than amazing ! The food in the restaurant by the attic is unexplainable… the rooms are artistic and super amazing … the hotel is a piece of art … it was built is 1780 and hosted the first Rico in Switzerland! Service was very friendly and professional. We had the incense breeze and the calves Cordonbleu. Both were served hot and were very good. View from the terrace were very nice. Prices are in line restaurants of this quality in Switzerland. Very recommended!
Freundliches Personal und gutes Essen. Obwohl wir keine Reservierung hatten, wurden wir herzlich aufgenommen und bekamen einen Tisch (4 Personen mit Hund). Eine wunderschöne, gemütliche Atmosphäre und schön gelegen in der Haupt-Einkaufsstraße.
Restaurant Alpenclub surpassed my expectations! Beef tartare and chinois fondue was spectacular. A tinge of Sherry to broth after was heavenly I must say I was extremely bloated from soup after as I struggled to stop myself.

Wirklich schönes, klassisches Schweizer Restaurant. Tolle Atmosphäre mit interessanten Möbeln. Das Essen war sehr gut und die Suppe war besonders interessant. Ich empfehle es sehr.
