It took 10 minutes for us to receive the bottle of wine we ordered. The server explained that only two people understand the bottle organization system, and he wasn’t one of them, which led to some confusion.
We had hoped for a nice three-course meal: two appetizers, shared pasta, and two main courses. The crispy meatball appetizer was excellent, as was the pasta that they divided for us. However, the main courses arrived less than five minutes after the pasta, resulting in our other dishes sitting on the table while we finished the pasta.
The main course portions were generous, but overall, the dishes were quite underwhelming. We were so disappointed that we decided not to order dessert.
My wife and I absolutely love this place! Every time we've visited Foxwoods recently, we've chosen to eat here. We went yesterday to celebrate my birthday and were seated immediately. Our waitress, who I believe was named Sarah, was excellent—very attentive and she made sure we had everything we needed, checking on us multiple times to ensure our satisfaction. The waiter who brought the water was also very prompt and efficient. My wife ordered the rigatoni and I had the maltagliati, both of which were outstanding! The atmosphere is wonderful, and the music adds to the experience. This is by far the best Italian restaurant I've encountered so far!
We visited this restaurant to celebrate our 19th wedding anniversary, and it was a wonderful experience. The waiter greeted us with a warm "happy anniversary" after we mentioned the occasion to the hostess, and he promptly placed two flutes of champagne in front of us. Our meals were fantastic; my husband enjoyed the chicken parmesan, while I had the cavatelli. The house-made limoncello martini was delightful, and we couldn't resist saving room for the delicious tiramisu. Our waiter was attentive, engaging, and clearly knowledgeable about the menu. We will definitely return to this restaurant on our next trip to Foxwoods!
My son was in from London and he chose to go to Altra Strada during our mini Christmas vacation. We had reservations for dinner, but decided to get a quick drink and app earlier at the bar. Crystal was our bartender and she was fabulous. She helped us choose just the right app and made the best martinis we have had at Foxwoods. In addition, we enjoyed our experience so much we returned 4 times during our 5 day stay. We highly suggest the delicious ravioli, rigatoni, and calamari. We also enjoy the Monday night special...Meatballs and Martinis. We will definitely be back.

We were late for our reservation due to traffic and a delay checking in to the hotel. The hostess was still able to get us seated at a lovely table. Our server was friendly and knowledgeable (he helped us select a perfect bottle of wine). Our meals took a bit longer than typical but they were all worth the wait! Two of us had the Salmon and one had Trout. The food was outstanding. Highly recommend and would surely return again.
My wife and I dined at the bar on a Friday night. We shared a salad, enjoyed a few appetizers, and split a pasta dish. The food was outstanding! We also had a bottle of Barbaresco, which was surprisingly affordable, especially for a casino setting. Jeff was our bartender, and he was fantastic—very helpful and personable. We had frequented the casino before but had never tried this restaurant. We will definitely be returning!
We were celebrating an anniversary, though we weren't very hungry. We chose a table in the bar and thoroughly enjoyed the shrimp scampi appetizer, along with drafts of Stella Artois and a lovely Sauvignon Blanc cappuccino. The bartender was quite busy but remained very attentive. This is our favorite place for a little indulgence, and we always dine in the bar area.
we had written that it was a birthday party, but no one recognized it. so sad. eating was good, service was much better.

Their gluten free pasta is the best I have ever had. Food is great! Bread for my non gluten free husband is awesome!
