This is our local pub; we don 't order wine (of which they have a nice selection , but they have a few European beers on tap that are quite good (including Guinness . Fantastic small dive. Good pizza available in-house as well (more pizza and tacos also within walking distance). They show all the important events (Women's World Cup, Eurovision, etc). Standard mix of IPAs and Lagera/Pilsners on tap with a selection of English ales and the occasional porter or stout. Always a cider available. Couldn't ask for more for a low-key friendly neighborhood Spider-Bar.

A great relaxing spot for our Altadena community. My wife and I usually come on evenings for the special variety of ales and ciders that the proprietor, Gale, comes up with and conversation with random people at the bar. We also love the place as a regular evening gathering spot for our group of seniors and retirees.

Best pizza ever!!!! Gale asked me and my comrades if we were atheists before she would agree to serve us some beers. We all said we were atheists or agnostic so we could keep partying like the god fearing men that we are. #BlessedAF
I frequent this restaurant often because I work nearby. I have to say that their customer service is consistently excellent and they always keep the place clean. The prices are reasonable and they serve generous portions.
I grew up there in Altadena and I was happy to see the old Irish pub was still there and renamed Altadena Ale Wine House. The regulars and the staff were the best. We went for New Year Food: 3 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
