This cozy bistro offers a delightful take on modern American cuisine. While we visited during a busy time, which resulted in a bit of a wait for our drinks, our server was attentive and ensured our drinks and desserts were perfectly crafted. The cornichons were chopped rather than ground, which enhanced the texture and complemented the capers and corn nicely. The panzanella salad featured diced stone fruits and burrata, delivering a subtly flavored yet satisfying experience. The lamb was tender and flavorful, while the scallops, though slightly underwhelming, were enhanced by the twill and garlic sauce. altaeats didn't disappoint us once again! One of our favorite goals is to enjoy their food, and we were thrilled even though they ran out of laughs (Paul makes that better than anyone!). The Brussels sprouts were fantastic, along with everything else we ordered—endive salad, French fries, bread, scallops, and rack of lamb. And oh my gosh, the pot au crème was out of this world! Everything was so delicious that I wish I could go back today!
I haven't visited Alta Eats too often, but every time I've gone, whether by myself or with family, it has been a wonderful experience. Each dish is perfectly cooked and full of flavor. However, what really distinguishes Alta Eats from other restaurants in our area—and even those in the lower 48—is the bread. It's freshly baked and served with house-made butter, both the cinnamon variety and the traditional chive option. Absolutely divine!
They also provide amazing dinner specials for takeout, which you can check out on their Facebook page. We make it a habit to order from there at least once a week. The portion sizes are generous and offer excellent value for our hungry family! I've wanted to try this hidden gem for years, and I regret not doing so sooner. The food was exceptional; however, the atmosphere wasn’t conducive to conversation. The high noise level and cramped table arrangement made it less enjoyable for a relaxing meal. Despite this, the food is genuinely remarkable, and we plan to return. We just need to choose a quieter, less bustling time to visit and ask for a table in a more tranquil area.
I was watching ABC 7 and saw the incredible work Paul, his daughter, and his fabulous team does in generously donating food to first responders and people in need. There's so much kindness in their hearts so a big thumbs up to AltaEats! Their menu is so diverse and looks absolutely delicious.
We had a lovely experience at this nearby restaurant. The food was well-prepared, and the service was excellent. The atmosphere was very comfortable, making our visit enjoyable. My wife and I often think about returning. We’re delighted to have Altaeats right in our backyard!
Charming, candlelit bistro offering delightful cuisine and exceptionally attentive service! We particularly enjoyed the Brussels sprouts. We also sampled the scallops, pork chops, lamb, and duck. All in all, it was a wonderful experience!

It was a nice place, enjoyed our food. Unfortunately in todays world we find most restaurants are becoming lazy and don't work to provide a good eating environment with good food.
