Altana Restaurant-Hotel

we were 3 nights in this hotel/restaurant. the location is very good, it is located directly at the railway station and the valley station scuol. from outside it looks like a normal hotel. inside the rooms are rustic with a bit cheesy furnishings. but everything is clean and well maintained. the stay was very pleasant, the owners and their staff were super nice and professional. the breakfast buffet was 1a and the kitchen was absolutely top!I chose the lamb entrecôte at crust. very recommended! the chef really has something on it.Privacy is both the restaurant and the hotel in the middle area. the more I was surprised by the kitchen.We paid for 3 nights double room 1 dinner (to two) total ap...

the good reviews here just let me close:The kitchen must have gotten a bad day, the chef too. 3x rindsfiletsteak bernaise ordered. service does not ask for desired level. 1x long hair on meat, sauce bernaise thick like pudding.After complaints in the service, the owner (also sits on a table) grants 10% discount on the entire consumption. does not consider it necessary, despite absolutely empty restaurant, to apologize personally.

we were there as a group and the selection from the small card was very large.I had a narrow-adher plate with cheese, buoyant meat, salsitz, speck, coppa and raw ham it was very large and excellent. also my colleagues were very satisfied with the service and eating. the service was friendly and fast.Can only be recommended again.

Wir waren auf der Suche nach einem schönen, leichten Mittagessen, wurden aber eher enttäuscht, da uns das Personal hinsichtlich des servierten Essens schlecht beraten wurde
