In anticipation, we booked a long weekend at the Althoff Seehotel Überfahrt. A junior suite with a mountain view and a standard double room also with a mountain view were reserved. The rooms are relatively old, but very clean. All the features for a five star hotel are offered, but it is more than disappointing that in the junior suite with mountain view the eyes of the tenant of the junior suite are automatically drawn to the staff canteen, which is illuminated day and night. This impresses with its sobriety in its furnishings. An early riser like me would also like to sit on the existing garden furniture, which unfortunately had no seat padding. We had the pleasure of spending a long weekend at the Hotel Überfahrt Tegernsee and I can say that it was an exceptional experience all around. The service in the hotel is simply outstanding. Every member of staff we met be it at reception, in the restaurant or in the spa area was extremely friendly, helpful and always tried to make our stay even more pleasant. The personal support was particularly remarkable: special requests were always addressed flexibly and with a smile. It really felt like you were in a luxurious home. Ceiling stained. The ceiling is actually beige, but was touched up with white. When we brought it up, this information was ignored. The lights in the room were generally nice, but you definitely need a degree in electrical engineering. There are many different light switch combinations. It was almost impossible to achieve comfortable lighting. Unfortunately, the employees at the reception were not very accommodating, rather incompetent. For example, we were only given about 1/4 of the information that was explained to other guests. Ein schönes Hotel mit wirklich super Service und sehr netten Personal. Das Essen ist wirklich sehr lecker. Der SPA Bereich liegt im Keller. Ich persönlich mag Saunen die so angelegt sind, dass man nach draußen schauen kann. Wenn man in den SPA Bereich kommt wird man von der schlechten Luft etwas erschlagen. Ich könnte hier nicht den ganzen Tag liegen. Der Ruhe Raum ist nicht wirklich ein Ruhe Raum weil jedes Mal wenn jemand rein kommt die Tür sehr laut zuknallt. Selbst das Personal welches ab und an rein kommt hat das wohl noch nicht gemerkt. Hier würde ich die Tür so einstellen dass sie leise zufällt. Top location helped by the position a lot! Clean and very helpful staff! I don’t remember the names but 2 of them a girl maybe Nadia and a Blonde tall guy the were very polite and professional!!! My best breakfast in an hotel ever! Parking very clean and safe! Beds are TOP A very nice and quiet place! Recommend!!!!!
Wir waren zwar nur eine Nacht hier, haben die Zeit dort trotzdem sehr genossen. Einfach ein super Hotel, 5 Sterne Deluxe mit allem was dazugehört. Service, Ausstattung, Zimmer, Wellness, Essen, einfach alles perfekt. Wir kommen ganz sicher wieder.
Arrive and feel at home. A stay with an all-round carefree package. Cozy rooms, incredibly great staff, great ambience and everything from breakfast to dinner is recommended. Can only recommend it.
