The food is consistently excellent, and the service is both attentive and friendly. The atmosphere evokes fond memories of past visits with friends and family. I truly love this restaurant and plan to dine here for many years ahead. Be sure to try the fried artichoke hearts, paired with the salad and garlic rolls – they set the perfect stage for enjoying some wine while your entrees are being prepared. Just remember to save some space, as the portions are generous and delicious, and you can't go wrong with any choice you make. Even if you're full, you should still indulge in dessert! It's a wonderful way to unwind with a cup of coffee after your meal.
Was really hoping to find an Italian restaurant that wasn?t a major chain in the Knoxville area. The servers were amazing and food was out in time. Staff was nice. But honestly the food just isn?t worth it. It was okay. Not great but not horrible. Thefood just didn?t seem that fresh or flavorful. I?ve had better pasta made at home and at other major chains. It wouldn?t hurt togive the place a try but to me it just wasn?t worth it.
This was my first time at the restaurant, and everything was excellent! The garlic knot rolls were outstanding, and the salad was the best we've ever tasted. The fried artichokes were delicious as well. I had the Pollo Amanda; I was expecting a thicker chicken breast, and while it was a bit dry, it was still very good! The cannoli was fantastic too! I have no complaints! The ambiance was great. I highly recommend stopping by!
The service was warm and efficient, and the food was a step above what you’d find at typical Italian chain restaurants! I particularly appreciated that the sauce wasn't overly sweet, which can often be the case with Americanized versions! While it may not be a five-star establishment, it is definitely very good! Delicious! I tried the Melanzane, and it was the standout dish compared to everything else we ordered. I wasn't a huge fan of the meat sauce, but the salad was fantastic, especially with the chickpeas and beets! The fried artichokes were also perfect. We will definitely be returning!
My wife and I dined there tonight, and the service and food were absolutely outstanding! I really believe this is the best Italian restaurant in Knoxville. A big thank you to all the staff for making our evening such a wonderful experience!
