Am Funkeneck - Tisch resevieren

Dieser Ort ist bereits eine Institution, seit Moses das Rote Meer geteilt hat, aber er hat kürzlich unter neuer Leitung und neuem Namen wiedereröffnet. Bei meinem Besuch hat die Bar wenig von ihrem alten Stühlinger-Charm verloren, ist jedoch viel sauberer und auch geräumiger geworden, nachdem das Interieur erneuert wurde. Es gibt eine riesige Auswahl an Bieren, der Chocolate Porter ist eines der beliebten, aber exotischen Getränke vom Fass, und ich freue mich sagen zu können, dass er viel besser schmeckt, als er klingt!

Went here late at night on a Friday. The place was full but we were lucky enough to get a table. The bartender spoke English and gave good drink recommendations. The location is near a theatre so a large part of the clientele was the cultured sort and there's potential to overhear some fun conversations. The wait staff was polite and friendly. The overall vibe of the place is fun, friendly and not too loud.

Cool place for beers and friends. Beer selection changes and has more variety than most pubs in town. Live music on occasion. Smoky all the time. I imagine this place is ideal for the standard Stammtisch or just a bunch of folks socializing the ol' fashioned way. If there is live music it can get hoppin'. As far as I know the food options are a bag of peanuts or the Dönerladen down the way.

Nice place for a date or drinks with friends . The atmosphere and the attention are quite good. Looses one star for me because you can't pay with card and they allow people to smoke inside. Other than that is great. Super extensive beer offering and solid cocktails. Reserviere jetzt einen Tisch

Schöner Ort, um einen Abend zu verbringen. - Gute Auswahl an Getränken, besonders Bier. Man bekommt hier einen Eindruck von einer guten und freundlichen Atmosphäre, aber man sollte beachten, dass die Luft drinnen raucherfreundlich ist. Viel Spaß bei Ihrem Besuch!

the beer list is minimalist, but often changing and shows the beaten away beer from crafts or private brewery. interesting and friendly bar hands.
