We visited on a busy Sunday night with a reservation, and it took some time for the waitress to lead us to our table. Parking can be a challenge since it’s street parking along El Camino Real, and the service was a bit slow, but the sushi definitely made it worthwhile. I highly recommend the omakase! For $42, you get ten generous pieces of nigiri. The fish was very fresh and delicious, and I loved how they were significantly larger than the rice. The tempura was soggy, and while the rolls were decent, they seemed to be crammed into the container to avoid using an extra one. The staff member was a bit abrupt when I arrived for my order; I was there a few minutes early. I tried to be polite, but she asked for my name three or four times, and I had to repeat it just as many. Eventually, she found my order, which was sitting on the counter, tied in a plastic bag with my name on the receipt taped to it, and handed it to me.
Everyone really enjoyed the Chicken Katsu; it was delicious, crispy, and made with dark meat. They were out of one item but chose to call us instead of just removing it from our order, which I appreciated. If they hadn't called, one person in our large group would have ended up with no food.
Sushi for great value! Ordered the sushi deluxe which included 9 chef’s choice nigiri and a roll all for $30. The fish was generously cut and generally tasted fresh, with the exception of some of the tuna tasting a bit fishy.

This is the best sushi I've ever had! The quality of the fish was incredible and very generous. The complimentary ice cream at the end was a nice touch too! I ordered the $25 Sushi Regular, and it was absolutely fantastic.
We had lunch at this restaurant, and everything on the special menu was excellent. The regular menu items also looked good. I highly recommend the Kobe beef and uni. Overall, we give the food a 5/5!
I'm not sure what happened to the rolls today; they were really disappointing. They used to be good, but the fish looked old and discolored. We ended up throwing them out.
I enjoyed the dragon roll, 49's roll, and California roll made with real crab. The unagi nigiri is spot-on, and the presentation is consistently beautiful.

we came to a later side to lunch( Tuesday). probably 1:30 o'clock. no reservations required. not too busy, but there were good four to five tables.
the food was okay and the service was so. not the kindest. the restaurant itself is beautiful and that could have been a bad day for them.
