I hate writing a bad review but here I am. I've ordered from this company a time or two in the past and have never had issues. The bread comes in a box with Packing peanuts Or packing so my bread has never been damaged. This time I received a box with no packing. Half of the bread in the box was smashed. I originally emailed the orders email address as soon as I opened my box. I then saw that I was missing 2 items. I sent another email maybe 10 minutes later. The next day, UPS delivered a box that had 1 of the two missing items in it. Still no response via email and I've yet to get my missing loaf and it's been . I emailed them again and again, Nothing. This is just a small retail space located in the corner of a large bakery, but it's filled with warmth and friendliness. They offer a variety of delicious treats, including bolos and massa, both with and without raisins, as well as sliced sweet bread perfect for toasting. You'll also find homemade pound cake and both lemon-flavored and plain biscoitos!
The first order my daughter got me was fantastic the second order it was stale it tasted horrible and they were a lot smaller loaves than the large ones she had ordered I think somebody messed up and didn't give me the right size. My daughter has tried emailing them several times and calling to no avail this is bad business
Amaral's Bakery (Globe St) offers the best homemade chorizo and peppers, with every cooked dish bursting with flavor. The butchers are always friendly and knowledgeable, making the entire market experience exceptional. Their menu is full of delicious options that keep me coming back!

I have been ordering online consistently for 2 years with Amaral's. They are the best to deal with. I live in NC and can't get their products where I live on the coast. I will always order from them!
I tried the single sweetbread with the egg in the center, and it was the worst sweetbread I've ever had. It was extremely dry and lacked any flavor—very disappointing.
I truly enjoyed my meal at Amaral's Bakery on Globe St, especially thanks to the welcoming and friendly staff. I had really missed this place.
Amaral's stood by their products and replaced doubly what didn't arrive fresh to me in my first order. I applaud them for being so generous!
