I have come to have high expectations for dining at Ambli Global, but we were very disappointed last night. We did the 10 tasting menu on Mon, Jan 9th to celebrate our recent engagement. We requested no onions, as my fiance has a strong aversion, and most of the dishes arrived with onions and the Ribeye and potatoes were smothered in onions. When we pointed this out, there was no offer to remake the dishes. Several of the other dishes were definitely not on par with our previous experiences. The cold salad was particularly bland and unappetizing. The dessert was also much smaller than it had been in the past. The food and experience were not worth the $241 we paid.
We had a fabulous time dining at Ambli for a friends birthday. Pricey but luxury experience that was tailored by the owners. Every course was amazing. We had the Thai 7 course experience. Super memorable time, will be back and have already recommended to others! Service was incredible by owners and servers.
Came in on a night where they changed the menu and was recommended by the owner to do their tasting menu. Don’t regret it. Fantastic food, great service, and the owner made sure to check in on us after every meal was brought out. Definitely recommend.
Ambli is hands down the best restaurant in Colorado Springs. My wife and I have enjoyed fine dining and great food all around the world and Ambli hangs in the with the best. The owner is so pleasant and always makes us feel so welcome.
I was here a while ago when they had crab legs on the menu and they were so salty I couldn't ingest them, haven't been back since, hopefully their food got better.
