Ambrosini's - Tisch resevieren

It has been a good week for my family so thought we would have a celebratory dinner. Asked where they wanted to go, Garnet picked Ambrosini's. We have not been there for a few years so I was particularly happy with the choice as I only have fond memories. <br/ <br/ Upon arrival we were warmly greeted by the staff and seated. Delicioso. Just left Ambrosini 's after a fantastic lunch with my colleagues. The service was excellent from my initial call to ask about availability, right through to pre-ordering our meals, and finally indulging in their delicious dishes. Another nice Italian restaurant in town near eastern suburbs. Average nice inner decorations simple, nice and tidy. <br/ <br/ Services waitress was slightly clumsy but has very very good manner. She apologises few times for her clumsiness. She is really friendly and helpful. Food and drinks served at a good pace. <br/ <br/ Food serving here is really big. Even entree is like main for me. I would recommend one entree share between two. The gnocchi here is really good especially cook with sage and garlic with but butter brown sauce. We were greeted with smiles upon entry, the restaurant has a contemporary look with soft lighting and candle lit tables. Could not fault the service, aside from trainee staff learning hick-ups but it gave us all something to laugh about together for the night. The northern Italian dishes we had were rich in flavours, the drinks were fabulous, I love that the pretty butter complimented the warm side rolls. Although the potato gnocchi melted in your mouth, it needed slightly more pinch of salt so did the stracciatella, the veal was perfectly tender, the ragù was perfectly cooked, and the oysters were fresh. We couldn’t fault our dining experience. A very sophisticated and classy restaurant with exception service and attention to detail. All of our plates left the table cleaned right off. Two of us devoured the seafood pasta which overflowed prawns, squid and fish. We will be back

First time trying out a lovely old Italian place. We thoroughly enjoyed the ragú penne, duck special with risotto and veal scalopini. Food came our super quick and fresh from the pan. Loved it!

Always a nice meal here. Great service and nice ambience. The menu hardly ever changes but it is all really tasty. The Veal with mushrooms is my favourite.
