This was our first time at American Prime. There is plenty of seating .... decor is lovely, dark wood, leather seating. Our waitress was very nice but the dishes sat on the table a bit longer than they should have and we did have to ask for a refill of water. This is an expensive restaurant, so one would think the food would be amazing. I ordered the strip steak (medium) and it was overcooked. My husband ordered the pork chop and said it was overcooked as well. My mom ordered the branzino which she liked very much, there was just not enough of it!! The entree's did not come with anything and the sides are $10 plus! Once is good, but we wont be back!
The food was excellent both the appetizers and the entrees . The staff were pleasant and attentive without hovering . They allowed us to bring in our own cake for my husbands birthday, then brought us out complimentary champagne. A very positive experience, a perfect night . Would highly recommend.
Apps and salads were amazing! The creamed spinach has a seasoning in it that I wasn't crazy about. We ordered the tomahawk steak for 2 and although it was cooked perfectly it was extremely fatty but overall I enjoyed it would just order differently for entree and sides.
Went to American Prime for restaurant week to try something new. They were extremely cheap with portions. I feel like they cut what would be normal portions in half. Mussels which cost next to nothing, even the cheesecake. Not going to return.

Food was great, service has excellent especially our waiters Shay and Willie Diamonds made our experience memorable. We dined 2 times during HVRW. Both times were Great. Will definitely return .
Everything was perfect meal, drinks, service and ambiance all for a reasonable price. The three course fixed price menu contained a nice selection of delicious options.
The food and service were excellent. I highly recommend this place. The four of us had a wonderful time and will definitely return.
It was just mediocre. The staff seemed inexperienced, and the food was acceptable but nothing that would make me want to return.
