We go to Amerigo about once a week. We eat mainly off of the lunch menu or the early bird menu. We love Chicken Acuto, the pizzas and the salads. From the time you walk in and meet Debbie the hostess, then your server, then you walk out, everything goes well. I always order a cocktail and Kevin makes sure it is what I like. We like the bar area booths and are lucky enough to get them early afternoon. We go so often that between Debbie, Kevin, Angela, Amanda, they pretty much know what we are going to order. If you have a problem, Andrew, the manager, can get it fixed for you. This is a friendly, good quality, good value for your restaurant, that we think you will be happy dining here.
We had Amerigo as a special meal shortly after Christmas. The food was fair. Very large portions. The service was good but not exceptional. We found the food to be barley above Olive Garden quality. The price was definitely not on par with the quality. Ronnie Grisanti’s still takes the cake for authentic Italian food in the East Memphis area.
I was there to celebrate a birthday. We had an excellent server. He was attentive and made sure we were adequately served. Our arrival time was 4:30 pm and we ordered from the early bird menu. I’ve never had a bad experience at Amerigo’s. I highly recommend this restaurant.
from the moment we arrived, we were greeted and sitting immediately and everything went so smooth. the waiting staff was friendly and efficient and the food was wonderful. we tried the early bird specialties and they are a big bargain. this place never disappointed.

Excellent service. I had the salmon on the lunch menu. It was delicious, although slightly overcooked. Maybe the server should have asked how I wanted the salmon done. It still tasted delicious.
Deanna was our server. She was very attentive without being overbearing. Food was excellent. Having reservations was great.
Great food and people. Have eaten there twice now and will definitely be back again.
Great dinner with our kids. Our server was so kind and polite. Wonderful experience.

So glad Chef doesn't use a lot of pepper in dishes which overpowers flavor of food.
Eating was good, but nothing excellent. our server (kendall) was excellent!
