the pizzateig is without milk and an original Italian. the part: on the menu they only have a sweet pizza that they need without a cheese. on the other hand the taste is still very good. with the pizza they serve (on the side in 2 glasses) ground garlic in oil as well as chili seeds in oil, which is beautiful. the salat comes without dressing (on the top,) which is good (oil and vinegar come on the side.) of course they also have some vegan pasta dishes. the coffee is also good, but they do not have soy / oats/rice. milk (only milk) the staff is very friendly. not so good is the bathroom: it is more or less clean, but very small/cracked and partly damaged.
I went there with a bunch of other people, the food was overall OK. Pizzas were good, pasta were a bit unsalted, while antipathy were scarce and overly expensive (4 slices of prosciutto crudo, 4 of salame, 4 of pancetta coppata, and a micro portion of vitello tonnato for 30 euros.!) The problem was that waiters refused to bring tap water, after asking that for a couple of times. They looked offended by the request that is fully accepted anywhere else.Despite the food was good, our overall impression was: rather than amici, they are money driven
I guess that locals already know that the pizzas at Amici are fairly good. For the tourists that cannot skip their habits than head to Amici. I am italian andlived in Linz for some years. I never looked for pizza but when it happened it was normally just eatable, except for the pizza of Amici that is more. As a plus, the restaurant is near the Donau bank, at walking distance from Ars Electronica and Hauptplatz, Fischmarkt and Luna park, when it happens to be the right time. The staff is friendly.
Ich war schon mehrere Male dort und habe einiges von der Speisekarte probiert. Der Service ist schnell und zu schnell empfinde ich oft als etwas unpersönlich. Wenn man im Inneren des Restaurants sitzt, fühlt es sich ziemlich eng an. Der Außenbereich gefällt mir nicht, da er praktisch an einer Straßenecke mit einem großen Parkplatz liegt. the amici is a beautiful original Italian restaurant with many seating outdoors. because their teig is vegan for pizza pasta, they can order everything literally, only without meat cheese and they are good to go. I recommend the pizza vegetariana on which you should add some olive oil as a substitute for the cheese delicious!
Possibly the best pizza I've had in Europe outside of Italy. Top ingredients, friendly service prompt and precise. It's a quiet location and they know they're thing when it comes to pizzas, it helps that they're Italian but they also speak English. All round top place. Definitely be visiting again
We ate 2 times at this restaurant during our stay in Linz, and yes, it is among the best pizzerias I have ever ate in. The service is excellent and fast, and one of the employees even talked to us in French, I found this very nice! The pizzas are big and good, it is a place to remember.
