I was really looking forward to trying this restaurant, but my experience was disappointing. The fries tasted like they came from a frozen bag, the sausage was lacking in flavor, and the picanha was just mediocre. I've had exceptional picanha before, and this didn't even come close. The service was below average, and the overall decor felt like it was sourced from the clearance section at Walmart. Additionally, the presentation on well-worn cutting boards was rather off-putting. This place has potential but, unfortunately, I won’t be returning.
This is one of the finest steakhouses in Coral Gables. The quality of the meats is excellent, and they are cooked to perfection. Even more impressive is the exceptional service; it truly stands out. The restaurant offers a wonderful atmosphere, generous portion sizes, and fantastic value for your money. It's all about the amazing food and outstanding service here. While there may be other more well-known steakhouses nearby, this one excels in terms of price, service, and the welcoming vibe it offers. Service: Dine-in.
I visited on a Saturday night, and it wasn't too crowded, which created a great atmosphere! Maria attended to us and made us feel right at home. She even came over to fix our wobbly table. The food was delicious and incredibly reasonably priced. I loved it so much that I ordered some to take home! If you ever have some free time and are in the mood for a quality steak, this is the place to go. I will definitely be returning!
I loved the small dining area and ambiance. Everyone was friendly, and the food was terrific. I ordered skirt steak medium rare, and was not disappointed! If you're in the area you definitely need to consider getting in here. This is an excellent restaurant. Francesco, the owner and operator, does an outstanding job. He runs a meat packing business in Doral and brings in top-quality cuts of meat to Amigos Grill. The steaks are phenomenal. The restaurant is located on the corner and features indoor seating and a bar. Great job, Francesco! Keep up the fantastic work.
This restaurant is outstanding! The staff were incredibly welcoming, allowing us plenty of time to choose from the menu while being polite and attentive. Though the portions were on the smaller side, the steak I ordered was the best I've had in years. Overall, I would rate the food, service, and atmosphere all with a perfect 5!
I had a wonderful experience at this restaurant. I initially expected it to be generic or feel like a tourist trap, but it turned out to be exceptional. A young girl served us, and she felt like she was part of the owner's family, or at least acted that way. The cuisine was authentic, and the service was outstanding. Thank you!

Rating: 15/10! My date and I tried the $54 two-person special. The owner, Francisco, along with Maria (Mafe), were incredibly attentive. The picanha was delicious, as were the yuca, rice, corn, and the chicken empanadas. I highly recommend Amigo Grill for its quality food, inviting atmosphere, and top-notch service.
