a miss! this was our 31st travel to st barths and we were at this place when the restaurant le rivage was called. we tried it after it was opened again as amis about 3 4 years ago. it wasn't very good at that time. After hearing the new chefs we decided to try again and we are very excited. that was not worth it. a smoked bourbon potion that made sound really good. 1 hour later, after the appetizers were almost ready, they asked if we wanted to cry. we reminded them of the cocktail we never received. they quickly brought them into a very unusual glass that they have quite a lot to use a rough. we could say that the drink had no smogness and it was super strong. We celebrated my partner’s 50th birthday at Amis last night here on St. Barths. We knew it was going to be special but it went beyond our expectations! From the moment we were greeted by Kevin, it was 2 1/2 hours of the best service, the most delicious food the best view over the pristine beach of Cul de Sac. The restaurant is absolutely stunning and lit in a way that makes everything feel relaxed yet romantic. The staff their service was 3 michelin star worthy, from beginning to end. The celebratory complimentary champagne to close out our amazing night was perfect
Beautifully decorated restaurant with the perfect settings. Delicious dishes of excellent quality ingredients, perfectly cooked. Great deserts as well. Service is also excellent. Very romantic and chill. Hard place not to come back for lunch or dinner.
Almost all food was room temperature. Veal flavor was poor. We were the last table seated for the evening and felt like the kitchen had basically shut down.
