I would rate this 0 stars if I could.We were ushered downstairs to eat but little did we know what we were walking into.Very poor cleanliness & lack of hygiene. Drinks served in disposable cups and flies everywhere. Biriyani was excessively colourful, tasted old, greasy & recycled. No vegetables in the vegetable biriyani except a rogue olive from some other dish. Don't waste your time or money here.If this is how the food looks going in, I fear what it looks like going out. Pray for me.
Went to Amma Restaurant for dinner. The stringhoppers and fried fish with the egg green curry was superb. This is one restaurant where the food is always tasty as it is prepared once we place our order. It is not reheated food like in the other Sri Lankan restaurants in Lourdes. Many visitors have complained of tummy upsets after eating at the other Sri Lankan restaurants, especially The other one on Boulevard de la Grotte and SPV. Avoid these restaurants.
This is a South Indian or Sri Lankan restaurant on the main road to the grotto in Lourdes.We ordered vegtable samosa which were tasteless and oil soaked. We also had masala dosas that were terrible.We seriously think that Lourdes is going downhill in general as most businesses there dont care anymore because they are sitting on a goldmine with all the tourists pouring in4 years ago it wasn't so bad
This is a small restaurant. Managed on a shoe string budget in terms of people. Don't expect fine dine ambience and experience. The people were good to us and gave us hot piping delicious food. My kids had chicken biryani, we had a vegetarian thali and kothu parota, it was tasty. The service was quick. I would recommend this restaurant. Reserviere jetzt einen Tisch
If you are Sri Lankan and you miss your food at home, then Amma restaurant is the place to go. They have a simple but good menu with rice and currry, Roti and buriyani. We had the best lamb buriyani there. Very quick service and portions are quite big as well. Liked it so much, that we ate there twice during our stay.
Don't go in this so called restaurant! Its the worst things You can eat! Not only the staff give us the receipt adding something that don't bring, and when I went to ask about the bill the guy said Keep calm! What a nonsense! No respect for the customer at all!!
please avoid eating in the dirty restaurant you fall sick.the couple are serving frozen food made some moths ago.don t accept their invitation card distributed in the shrine.They are given slow poison to kill people

Very nice to find Sri Lankan / Tamil style food café here. Just as good as the UK. I had the Masala Dhosa and recommend it to anyone who hasn't eaten Sri Lankan / South Indian before.
