The food here is absolutely delicious. It's surprising because it's a small spot tucked away in Newport, but it serves some of the best Indian cuisine around. When you dine in, the service is far better than what you typically find in most restaurants that are usually crowded. They have only four tables, which adds to the intimate experience. The owners genuinely care about the quality of the food and the service they provide.
The food was quite good, and when we arrived at the restaurant, it wasn't very crowded, though there were plenty of takeout orders being prepared. The service was excellent; the staff was friendly, and we didn’t have to wait long for our meals to be served. Overall, we would rate the food, service, and atmosphere a solid 4 out of 5. The cost per person for lunch was approximately $20-30.
Great flavors! We came into town to visit the Newport Aquarium had already eaten lunch. We visited Amol to have afternoon tea. I was saddened because the gentleman who served us told the cook that we were “desi” because we didn’t order entrees. I stumbled upon this gem on DoorDash! I had never had Indian food before and I was pleasantly surprised! The food is amazing, the spice level is just right and they give you very generous portions. 10/10 would recommend! We ordered takeout from this restaurant, and it was fantastic! However, the wheelchair accessibility is somewhat limited due to a small step at the entrance and restricted seating inside. The establishment is primarily set up for takeout and delivery via DoorDash. Our experience was focused on their takeout dinner service.
I was in town visiting friends and we got take out from this spot. We placed a big order for 7 people and it was right on time. It was.... incredible. I love Indian food, and eat a lot of it, though I live on the west coast and this was some of the tastiest I have ever had. Go here now. Service: Take out Food: 5 Service: 5
I've been here a few times and tried several items from the menu. I've never had a bad experience. The food is consistently fantastic, and the portions are generous. Prices have increased a bit, but each order typically lasts for 2 to 3 meals. Always ask about the options!
The lamb biryani is absolutely amazing. The tikka masala was delicious too, although we wished the chicken wasn't shredded; still, the flavor was fantastic and we loved it. The chicken pakora and garlic naan were also excellent! Reserviere jetzt einen Tisch
