Food was solid, servers were very nice, but could not follow through on anything. One example was: the waiter asked if we wanted any fresh cheese or black pepper on our pasta, we said yes, he walked away and never came back. We had 4 other instances like that. The hostess was a, well she was not nice and had zero customer service skills. We had reservations and were standing at the hostess stand, she walked past us 4 times without even acknowledging us. We finally asked a waiter about getting a table and they flagged down the hostess. At that point she just seemed annoyed that we were there. Not a very welcoming experience. We arrived promptly for our reservation but ended up waiting 30 minutes to be seated. Once seated, it took another 90 minutes for our appetizers and salads to arrive, followed by an additional hour for our entrees. While I understand that many restaurants are currently short-staffed, this level of wait time is simply unacceptable. The food was decent, but it certainly didn't justify the long wait. They really need to reduce the number of tables to better align with their staffing levels. Overall, it was a disappointing experience, and I cannot recommend this restaurant.
We decided to visit this restaurant because we were informed by someone who answered the phone that no reservation was needed and that there were plenty of tables available. However, upon arriving tonight, we were surprised to find that there were no tables at all. It's quite frustrating to attempt to enjoy a meal when you’re expected to eat at the bar, which is quite loud, instead of having a nice dining experience. We might give it a try, but if there are no tables, we won’t be staying to eat.
We enjoyed a fantastic dinner at Andrea's. The calamari with hot pepper was excellent, and I ordered the mahi mahi special, which was cooked to perfection. My husband tried the penne vodka and he absolutely loved it! The salad with fresh mozzarella, tomatoes, and prosciutto was delightful as well. Our server, Rafael, provided exceptional service. Food is excellent and it?s BYOB which is a decided plus for wine drinkers. Great selection of standard Italian and seafood dishes. Have a nice rotation of specials and service has always been excellent. Reasonably priced across the menu considering the location. Only way to make reservations is to call so I?d recommend making reservations as far in advance as you can.
Andrea Trattoria has supervised our wedding in Sea Isle on 9/24/2022. The food was absolutely amazing! It was undoubtedly the best buffet we have ever experienced. Tino worked with us to make sure we had a variety of apps, salads and ducks. We asked golf shrimps and he could let this happen for us! Thank you. Tino and team at Andrea Trattoria!
Cozy place with great service and amazing food. Just enough to eat with each course. Three of us for dinner BYOB. The timing between soup, salad, entree and desert was perfect. I believe the price of the quality food was reasonable. Not a typical shore (commercial) restaurant. A nice group of people servicing us. What a finish.
