Andy's Roadside Dive

Recently saw an article written by Peter Genovese with a ranking of the top 50 Hot Dog rankings in New Jersey. Was pleasantly surprised to see a Morris County hot dog location make the top ten and happy to see that Andy's Roadside Dive was ranked #5. I've been know to take long road trips for a good dog and was happy this spot was close to home. Stopped in for a late lunch and a few others had the same idea. Prior to arriving, I never really looked at the menu and was planning on achilli dog. However, once I arrived and saw the menu, my plan quickly fell apart. Was intrigued by the hot dog creations that were available, and while wanting a classic chilli dog, realized I had to pick a special...

The best hot dogs I've had in my life. If I ever get married in the future, I need to have the ceremony in their kitchen so I can get immediate access to their delicious dogs after I say my vows. In fact, I wonder if I can legally marry a hot dog in NJ, because I could see myself settling down with their Roscoe Dog. Other favorites are the Pig Dog, Ghost Pepper Dog, Nacho Dog, Mac to the Future, Dive Dog Heck, if it's on their menu, it's worth eating. So good you'll slap your momma and refuse to apologize about it. Made for some awkward Thanksgiving dinners, but I might just eat at Andy's this year for Thanksgiving to avoid the confrontation with my momma. All jokes aside, these folks opened...

After driving 2 hours to go to a hot dog spot near Blairstown hot dog Johnny's or something like thatI was very disappointed I didn't get my hot dog fix so I looked on Google for hot dog spots near me and I'm so glad I did Andy's popped up so I drove another 30 mins and as entering the staff was super nice and recommended 2 dogs I got the mr potato and the pork dog and ot was absolutely delicious I now have my new spot when I decide to get hotdogs and it will be worth the 2 hour drive ..also my gf loved the waffle Klondike sandwich

Do you want a regular old hot dog he has the best! Do you want something created by an evil food genius this is absolutely your place to visit!! Just when you think a hot dog can’t get better Andy’s rolls out something new to tantalize your taste buds even further. The staff is second to none and you will always be treated like you been a customer for years. Top notch in taste, variety, cleanliness. Andy’s is the definition of go to place for good food!

Andy 's has the best and most creative dogs, period... He rotates the menu with new stuff and brings the old fans back from time to time.. Today as pictured I had a Pig Dog , a standard menu item, and I was accommodated with an item not currently on the menu, but since Andy had the ingredients, I got my wish. A Boom Shaka Lok with a cyno algae cream.... yum... enjoy and don 't be afraid to try something new...

Several interesting combinations for hot dogs. For the adventurous, try The Count! The Identity Crisis was also excellent. 7/25/21 Just went to their new location. It's even better! Had the Everybody Loves Ramen and my son had the Mr. Potato Dog. Fantastic!!! This is a must go destination for any hot dog pilgrimage. 6/17/22 Enjoyed a Shnitz-n-giggles and of course a Dive Dog. Great as usual.

Andy noticed us outside after he had closed... It waa obvious we got his hours wrong. He told us to come in and he made us what he had. It was really very good. He has a great business origin story and his exoerience shows positively in the quality of his food. This was the first time I was there but he mentioned that the menu changes frequently. A really good nice guy. 9/10 would repeat.

Always a great meal whenever I come to Andy's roadside dive, a one man one woman show they both seem to work extremely well together and create an awesome environment for serving food. Not to mention the interesting hot dogs on the menu, nice selection of drinks in the fridge, Great outdoor and indoor dining as well

Honestly the best hot dog joints I have ever been to. You will not find anything like this anywhere. My family and I make a weekly trip for dogs and quesadillas. My favorites are the Pig Dog, Stay Puft, Everybody loves Ramen and Roscoe's Modern life. Thanks Andy and Katie for sharing your gifts!

Super crazy (and tasty) hotdogs always changing the menu so be on the lookout for whatever the crazy special is I really liked it and can't wait to try some other crazyness
