We happened upon Anecdotes O Bistro while having a wander around Lavaur, which is not a place we often go. We will now, though! This is such a wonderful place for lunch! We ate outside on their terrace, under the trees, so even though it was a very hot day, we were completely comfortable. Also, as it is not on a main thoroughfare, it was quiet, without cars, exhaust fumes etc. We had the menu du jour, which was veal meatballs with lemon - really delicious, and accompanied by about the best frites ever - diet abandoned without a backwards glance. One of us had chocolate mousse for dessert, the other a cafe gourmand. Both were truly excellent. As was the house rose - from Gaillac and produced...
I was so lucky to be referred to this hidden gem!For a week I ate delicious international chef cooked meals (shhhh it's a secret ;) ).From the hearty Boeuf bourguignon, through the perfectly cooked chicken thigh with finely cut vegetables, to the flavoursome Salmon tagliatelle all complemented by a devine chocolate mousse, I spent a week looking forward to the next lunch.Thank you for the warm atmosphere and I hope to be back soon for more delights.
this restaurant offers a daily menu (plat/dessert) with a different dish every day. a restricted card complements in case or with vegetarian dish, or gluten-free or lactose-free or classic. all served in joy and good mood by the silk of the ordering aroma! this restaurant, open only on the south, has a small terrace on the street (a little noisy, damage). For a very reasonable price it is an excellent kitchen that is served. Delicious.
a perfect welcome, a super nice terrace, very pleasant setting. very good value quality price. The menu of the day was perfect. we enjoyed and if we return to the washroom, we already know where we will eat.

a small simple restaurant, a welcoming boss, a relaxing terrace and a carefully designed map adapted to all diets. everything is homemade: a true rare gust pleasure nowadays for more than correct prices!
it is sometimes a lucky chance ... discovered by a vacancière flânerie with wash, anecdotes o bistrot was a delicious break. Of course, an address to remember!
