We arrived as walk-in customers on a weekend, and aside from one other table, the restaurant was nearly empty. However, we were made to feel like we were a burden by the owner/chef, who even turned away another walk-in customer, claiming there was only room for pizza. There was a lovely young Italian waitress who was trying her best to serve us, but the owner kept taking over and was quite rude to both her and us. My partner ordered a Negroni while I opted for a non-alcoholic beer. The Negroni tasted diluted and pre-made, which is not what you'd expect from a restaurant of this caliber, especially when it was so quiet. The food was fantastic as well. We started with an excellent charcuterie and cheese board, and the bread was superb. For our main courses, we all chose pasta: seafood paccheri, pappardelle Bolognese, and ravioli. Our waitress was a delight, adding to the wonderful experience. The atmosphere was lovely, making the entire evening a memorable one. I highly recommend this restaurant! The food was outstanding, along with the service from the staff and the wine was exceptional. I had the bruchetta to start and the papadelle mushrooms and Italian sausage. The staff even understood my request to wait between starter and main because of an operation I had which limits what I can eat! Nice little restaurant, a stone's throw from the seafront. A must visit for anyone looking for a traditional, well decorated and pleasant Italian restaurant. Booked a hotel just round the corner. Because we took our dog with us ,we decided on a takeaway pizza. The place had a proper pizza oven, which meant the pizzas were authentic Italian pizzas. The toppings were so tasty, Just what you want on a cold evening. If we go back we will sit in next time. The staff were very helpful, and friendly. I had a fantastic experience at this restaurant. The pizza was amazing and the draught lager was excellent as well. For dinner, I found the prices to be very reasonable, averaging between £10 and £20 per person. Both the food and service were top-notch, receiving a perfect score of 5, while the atmosphere was also pleasant, rating a 4. I highly recommend trying their pizza!
WOW! Came with a friend after many recommendations and this place did not disappoint. The pasta is freshly made and the food is so authentic. Could not fault a single thing.
