that is a classic Italian restaurant. we were a little disappointed that the waitress was not willing to make slight changes to a pasta court (we asked them to add some veggies that they said we had to order on the side and add to us) we also ordered a garnel pasta dish and the garnels were still quite (with heads and bowls) so we had to deconstrue the pasta before we had to do it. it felt a bit high maintenance.
We ate outside and the traffic was loud most of the time. For New York, it was manageable. The service was good, in particular because they made an error in what we ordered and were quick to make it up to us. The complimentary limoncello at the end of dinner was a good way to encourage us to return.
This is an elegant old world Italian restaurant that truly understands food and service. The space is conducive to good conversation and encourages people to linger over each meal. There is a good selection of wine and a traditional menu of Italian favorites.
Just moved to the neighborhood and delighted to find Angeletto just walking by. Comfortable atmosphere and not a all loud when we were there. Overall very enjoyable experience. We will be back! Reserviere jetzt einen Tisch
Incredibly delicious food the mussels were my favorite, and the staff certainly looked out for me between the seating and the music for my date really appreciate this establishment
Our favorite meal while we were in NYC was at Angeletto. The meal was delicious, service was on point, and we had a memorable evening. Highly recommend!
Very well done outdoor set up. It's a Northern Italian menu, not a Southern Italian (red sauce) menu. Everything was very tasty. Excellent service.
