"Great place for happy hour, drinks, atmosphere, and service!"
After reading all the positive reviews about the place, I was excited to have a good experience for a Saturday brunch with my friend, but I don 't know what I 'm missing or if most people are repeating what they read. The only thing I can save about this place is the service. The staff is amiable, and they make sure everything is fine. The food is OK, the portions OK, the area is OK, but the straw that broke the camel 's back were the prices. The menu has the same prices as the website, but when the bill arrived, a dish that was supposed to cost $14 came with a balance of $18 without any explanation, and for the tip, they didn 't even offer you the option of 15% or customize it. Had a great dinner inside because it was a windy evening. The interior is so well decorated and feels very elegant without being over the top. Our waiter was kind and personable. Both our meals were prepared with excellence, and my cocktail was so tasty and cozy with a lit cinnamon stick. I love how well marked the menu is for gluten free, and according to our waiter, many other unmarked dishes could easily be prepared gluten free. To me as a celiac, it feels comforting to have a low risk of cross contamination in the kitchen. We will certainly be back and may try sharing a few appetizers instead of each getting an entree.
The pork chop was the best-cooked chop I ever recall. It was very juicy, well-seasoned, and just a hint of pink (this is difficult to get right, hint of pink is exactly how it should be cooked). Maybe a bit more salt would have been nice, but that’s my preference. Caesar salad was enormous with huge cheese ratio.
I had their chilaquiles and the presentation was just lovely. The ingredients were fresh and the way the dish was arranged I had as able to taste every bit of flavor. Will definitely return and recommend to others visiting Redwood City. I'm so-glad my son brought me here.

Always a great experience here. This is our go-to spot for brunch and mimosas on the weekends. Big shout-out to Eric, with impeccable service, who always makes sure our drinks are topped up! We always have a great experience when he is our server!
Nice place to have a dinner. We used to be there in a group of 10 people and everyone left happy. The location is nice you can sit in or outside.
Food taste does not meet the expectations There are much better places for the money spent.
