Before I give my opinion I have already been able to taste an afternoon tea in London in a 5-star... Hence the Christmas gift made to my mother: a afternoon tea in a hotel that wants to be luxury in Cognac.... Nothing to say about the reception, the crossed people have shown themselves charming. The English accent of our host, its seriousness were perfect and stuck in the frame because although small, the coffee is cozy.... we will not talk about the view because there is nothing to say... first disappointment... Nothing to say about the quality of the dishes... DELICIEUX.... Bravo to the leader! Here again a pity that magic disappears when seeing these come out of the fridge.... I am aware...
I came to the hotel to take a tea and a delicious pastry shop in L Angelique, no one in the hall, no indication whether it is open or not. A young woman at home who looks at me but turns away, a lady who obviously passes paper by hand, who does not respond to my salvation... So I went in spite, to write my opinion on the desert parking lot or almost... There are still efforts to do on communication, the openings of different spaces that are not easy to find on the net... Not very pleasant to feel ignored in an establishment whatever the standing elsewhere but more in a 5-star...
It is no longer possible to keep the hotel with a lunch in the afternoon. It's very professional and welcome. Services cannot be detached at all. Food is a beauty. The atmosphere is sticky. Others are not necessary. The sweet and sweet points were very good. She thanked Café Angelique for her next meeting.
After discovering the restaurant during one of our previous lunches during our stay in Cognac, we were pleased to return to this beautiful establishment to discover their pastries at the Café Angélique. Very pleasant frame and excellent pastry to pass a good end of the afternoon of winter!

It is pleasant to stay in a hotel that offers several atmospheres of restoration. The Café Angélique was the ideal place to make a few calls and wait for our room. The pastry wagon with a good cappuccino... It was perfect.
A big thank you to Ugo the pastry chef and his Justine collaborator for this delicious pastry, perfectly realized. As well as the reception I was given by Mr Kader Bendjeddah. I'll be back with great pleasure.
Top service, small care to make us live a delicious moment. We came for Christmas and I highly recommend their pastries (extras! accompanied by a green tea. We'll come back for sure.
Last time in the hotel before we left. The place is warm, the courteous, discreet service efficient. We will return as soon as possible to the Tea Time!
