This was the first time eating at Angeloni's. Never knew this place existed if it wasn't for social media. Our server was Jacob and he made the night out very enjoyable. The food was out of this world. My wife got the Fig Salad as a appetizer and she talked about it all the way home. Pizza was the best Bar Pie in New Jersey. We were a fan of the other famous Bar Pie in Orange NJ and this Pie blew them out of the water. Everything was spot on. Definitely our new pizza spot. We see why Bar Stool gave them 8.8.
The nicest people! The most amazing pizza! All in a beautiful setting. I think most of us have eaten a lot of mediocre pizza and this really reminds you of how great pizza can be. Its not greasy because they use great cheese, the crust is perfectly crisp and not heavy. It is just a joy to have such a great pizza! And their garlic knots! Normally garlic knots are doughy and not amazing these are crunchy and soft and full of fresh garlic. Just fantasic! Angeloni's is a WOW! experience!
The famous thinny thin pizza is definitely worth the trip. Good crunch, the burnt Parmesan cheese on the crust was a great finish to a great pie. I recommend getting a whole pie. I Grabbed a slice of pepperoni and the roni was good but the pizza itself was better fresh out the oven. Next time I'm doing 1/2 roni. Service: Take out Meal type: Lunch
