A family favorite since I was 15, Angelo's Burgers has always been in the same spot. Sometimes we stopped by before surfing, but mostly afterward. I was obsessed with their fried zucchini, which used to come in a brown lunch bag. Nowadays, we enjoy the pastrami sandwich or the hearty big breakfast. And the shakes are a must! They’ve definitely grown over the years, now serving beer and espresso, with several TVs to catch a game. Sitting outside, you can people-watch and soak up the warm California sun. This place has been an iconic spot for over 40 years.
Takeout Order: I ordered the family pack of burgers, and unfortunately, I was disappointed. The fries were soggy and lacked flavor, while the burgers were drenched in Thousand Island dressing. The drinks were underwhelming too—the Coke had an odd taste, and the lemonade was really bad. On top of that, my grilled tacos were missing from the original order, so I had to return to pick them up, only to find they were soggy as well. Overall, the experience did not meet my expectations.
I absolutely love the food here! However, I recently had a disappointing experience at the drive-thru. I ordered $35 worth of food and asked for ranch dressing for my fries, only to be told that I would have to pay for it. I understand if you're charging for extra sauces when ordering multiple, but not providing even one with a meal seems unreasonable. This policy really needs to change. Other than that, everything is amazing!
Angelo?s is a decent burger joint in Oceanside not far from some really great bars. They have a wide variety of burgers and also serve salads and burritos. Oh, and they?ve got a nice beer selection. The cheeseburger is solid and they serve a large portion of fries. It?s also not too pricey for something that?s quite a bump up from fast food. It?s definitely worth hitting up if you?re in the mood and the area.

We stopped here to eat during a motorcycle ride on the 101 and it was a pleasant experience. The portions are big and the service was fast and friendly. The food was good, a little bland for my taste, but nothing a little hot sauce can't fix. I liked it and would stop by again if I'm in the area.
Had chili fries and they had the worse chilli I've ever tasted. So bad like pizza sauce on fries. To Sweet. Pastrami sandwich was good though. Not the best Angelo's to eat at but have a lot of beer on tap .
My girlfriend and I would always go here. The greasy paper sack of fries and onion rings were the best! Now my wife of 40 years.. great memories. Thank you angelos. ?
I had some late-night snacks, and the BLT was fantastic! We also tried the zucchini sticks, which were tasty as well. Can't wait to visit again soon!

Wow, if you order their world-famous breakfast burrito, make sure you’re either really hungry or have a couple of friends with you. It’s massive!
