Never been able to figure out their reservation system. Have been told they do take them, or not taking them anymore. Have a wait list but can't get on it until we showed up. Then told at least an hour wait, an hour later as we were getting ready to leave, they called us for a table. Then, there was another hour wait until we got our meals. Drive to, from and all the waiting at restaurant, ended up being very expensive take out as we asked for boxes when meal brought to the table. Heard the food is good, find out tomorrow when I have it reheated from the refrigerator. Ended up getting McDonalds, at least that was hot. Unless you plan to spend half your day here waiting, better options availa...
Best Prime Rib in 3 counties, also their steak is as tender and flavorful as any high end steakhouse you'll find in the city. Highly recommended. Service is good but because it's so good you'll find a full house at 7 o'clock on a Wednesday so you may wait a while. Only thing is the inside is dated, like my grandparents would love it dated. But that doesn't take away from the delicious food. Go here for the beef. Service: Dine in
The food was good, but not spectacular or particularly creative in composition or presentation. It was busy when we arrived, and we were seated promptly which was nice, but the whole place felt dated and like it was trying to be something it wasn't... It is an old school supper club style restaurant that has some great lakes inspired fare. It's fine, and would again if I was in the area.
Never had a disappointing meal or experience here and I’ve been here a few dozen times. Chilean sea bass always a favorite special. Steaks cooked to perfection. Efficient service always with a smile. I'm not sure why this place is reliant as a big steakhouse. the service is fantastic, eating, not so much. it's quite mediocre. the ambiente is beautiful and the restaurant offers small to large parties comfortable.
My only issue was being seated in the bar area for dinner. We had people standing next to our table waiting for a bar seat to open at one point 3 people standing next to our table
