Ani - Tisch resevieren

This is one of very few Armenian places in the Greater Toronto Area (and the only I know of outside of Scarborough). They serve general regional fare (shish kabobs etc.), as well as Armenian dishes (stews, dolma etc.) Food is spicy and well-prepared without being truly five-pepper hot (they would give you a bottle of hot sauce if you want to fix that). They serve a decent selection of mainstream wines, as well as (very well matching with the signature dishes) Georgian wines.

First time in a place that is serving authentic Armenian dishes in GTA. And food is very good. Place is clean service is ok-ish, for some folks may not like russian music running on a background (that may be fixed by the hosts) while the meals will definitely leave you satisfied especially if you are a meat lover. Shich and lula-kebabs, lamb rack, etc... plus some other authentic dishes from Kavkaz region are very much worth trying.

Ani was recommended to me by a stranger on the Go train. We exchanged information on great places to eat.I took a chance and I couldn't have been happier!! The food is beyond excellent and attention to detail is taken with food quality! The restaurant is clean, staff friendly and I cannot wait to dine in. I did a takeout this time, I attached some pictures, it's definitely a must to eat here!! enjoy!!

We've been to this restaurant last week for dinner and i have to admit At first i almost walked out. The baba ganoush was sour, the lavash bread had mould but the main course was very good... the home made potatoes are truly delicious... It's Armenian restaurant, not fine cuisine, but great grilled meats, fresh salads, excellent basturma, great georgian cheese breads and Azerbaijan kutabs.We spent $200.00 for a lot of great food for 3 of us, 0,5 L of vodka, mineral water and coffee .Service was excellent and fast.

This is not fine dining but authentic Caucaus delicious food for very reasonable price. We order take out often and haven't been disappointed once. Lula kebabs and chicken breast kebabs are our family favorites, as well as their home fries and grilled vegetables.

This is our first visit, and we fully satisfied, The food was delicious, staff very polite and friendly. We enjoyed every moment. The prices were reasonable, We will be back , for sure!
