Visited again today, found some delicious new additions to the menu. Worth trying the fois gras with pickled blackberries, and the fregola (a Sicilian specialty) with mussels and crab. It was a cold December's night. Being a little tardy for my friends, I scurried along Kentish Town Road looking for Anime e Cuore, what i imagined to be a busy and alluring Italian restaurant. Something seemed off when I found it; the door sign said closed, all I could see through the window was ice-cream and there were no people in sight. Confident I was at the right address though, I went inside and low and behold, there was a tiny restaurant hiding at the back Of the six or seven tables ours was the only one occupied. So we arrived with a bottle of prosecco to divide between two of us, and I discovered that the rest of the restaurant had decided for a bottle of red, everyone I love how much london uses byob. don't write a book on his cover! this place is a real gem. eating is outstanding, the presentation is a real passion of her and the blackboard is a dream to penetrate. byo makes it a really affordable place to eat high quality food. it is...small and can be a little loud, but who cares (see other review) do not distract these below from the food that is after all the main reason that they go there! huge thanks to house and kitchen staff

I love this place, the menu has old favorites (Tuna-Tarter) and new supplements the fregola with crawling and garnel is joyfully smeared with saffron. the small touches such as the brote at the beginning and its Weclome-byo policy are in order (and there are some. problems over lärm etc.), but it is driven by the obligation to cook. thanks to the cooking team and all involved

Wonderful lunch here today. It's such a marvellous menu, I really regretted the options I didn't choose. The fact it's BYO is an added plus. Charming and informed service. Altogether a special meal. The deli Lo Sfizio, in the same ownership and every bit as...good, is a few shops down the road.

I shared a party with a big group of friends. we were placed on a long table in our own room, and the staff gave to the wee we brought kindly weeping cooler. the eating was incredible for the price, it was the exact. experience I was looking for!

Lovely gelato. I chose mango and passion fruit flavour and also the chocolate flavour. They tasted very rich and natural. Staff service was excellent as well. What a neighbourhood hidden gem!
