a lunch in this restaurant on the proposal of friends: I opt for the formula (drink of the day gourmet coffee)Plat of the day: the waitress announces "caillette stuffed with potato jumped". Once served, I almost got the plate back in the kitchen, but I didn't dare, for my friends...The caillette was a thigh of dried candy, hidden under culls filled with very oily stirred apples...we would have said we had the remains of other unfinished plates...The gourmet coffee was wearing a mini chocolate flash, a very green one. without taste, and 2 mini cakes of different shape but identically unrecognizable taste! my wife this day chosen a dish of the day despite the salad card displayed at the bottom of the stairs but more available because the menus change the first of the month. the dish of the day is therefore a paella, which turns out to be insipid and resembles not to mistake a dish to defrost. around us the people who ordered this same dish seem not to enjoy either. We report it several times to the lady and ask her to bring the dish back to her chef, for my part herb fish that I did not digest from the afternoonbref, despite all the efforts of the staff, we leave very disappointed and we will not return there.
the surrounding frame may not be bucolic but once you enter the places what a nice surprise with a nice decoration, warm and tasteful. a spacious terrace with a very good musical background and a good welcome to start. the card is simple but offers a varied choice and the products are fresh. a very good value for money for this restaurant that is worth the detour.
I went there several times and depending on the days and the cards, I ate more or less well. the frame is pretty, the nice service, but in the plate it is according to the mood of the chief I would say. When it's good, it's good, but if you fall a bad day, then it won't be very copied or delicious but nothing dramatic.
We left to eat at the restaurant next to... which was closed. So, in spite of this, we decided to try this one and we were not disappointed! the meal was simple but very tasteful and the service was fast, efficient and pleasant. the decor is simple but made with taste. It's a pretty typical family run French restaurant that serves some pretty typical french dishes - steak frites, entrecote, tartare, plat du jour, etc.
