Coworker ordered from here a couple weeks ago and our order got cancelled. Was a Saturday around noon. No explanation. So this place has been on my mind. Felt risky ordering from here but they came through with door dash delivery. They sent a text confirming my order and a link to watch the driver for delivery status. Delivery was pretty much on time. I tried the ricotta meatball and the sausage broccoli rabe. The meatball was my fave of the two. The white pizza went the fastest and the bbq pizza went the slowest among the employees here. I can't believe I haven't reviewed this place yet. Anthony's Coal Fired is an absolute gem! The food is delicious, the atmosphere is lively, and the waitstaff is among the friendliest I've ever met. They have a hot honey pizza that's sticky, warm, and packed with flavor—loaded with pepperoni that I can’t stop dreaming about. Just writing this is making my mouth water! Priced at $26, it's enough to feed three people, but you’ll definitely want to order another one to take home! My boyfriend, who typically doesn’t like anything spicy, devoured this pizza. It’s also great cold! I love it here and always make a point to stop by whenever I'm in the area!
I brought my teenage boys here for dinner being from out of town. We had the garlic knots and they were delicious. We also ordered a couple of pizzas one with sausage and one with the thick sliced pepperoni. The pizza was great. I'm usually not a fan of sauce that has pieces of tomato in it, but I really liked this pizza. The sauce had a bit of a sweet flavor. The dough tasted fresh and the cheese was stringy. The owner even came to our table and made conversation with us. The inside is not huge but we found it quaint with the bar off to the side and the kitchen at the back. Someone at Anthony’s Coal Fired Pizza in Altamonte Springs allowed this Margherita pizza to leave the kitchen with only two small pieces of basil, one of which was burnt. Unfortunately, the rest of the pizza didn’t have enough quality to compensate for this oversight. I would recommend ordering from another place.
Fresh, hot pizza. It was good but in my opinion, it could use a little more salt. The service was friendly. I ordered on GrubHub and picked it up myself. I would like to eat here again. I'd like to dine in.
