Anthony's Hearthfire Grill Squalicum Harbor

dinner at the Anthony’s hearthfire grill last night. our server april was very accommodating knowledgeable. we had fish chips, scampi, tempura mushroom appetizer, hearts of romaine salad I pampered in the pork with ginger sauce apples served on cornbread w broccoli. the chop was a generous size, delicious served very hot, which I appreciated. (I probably would have asked for more sauce, but only half finished. dessert was a fit for me, but my aunt had the strawberry sorbet she thought it was refreshing. anthony’s is an old time favorite from my days in seattle. ate there before almost any flight from seatac. but that was my first time at the location bellingham and it was not disappointed. our waiting person, david, was relaxed and sincere, funny and pleasant. he was interested in us and then gave the right amount of space to enjoy our evening. it is directly at the bay and during the daylight hours will be the most breathtaking. eating is top notch and prepared with care. even if they don't want their salmon translucent in themselves, they will cook it perfectly without drying it out. that's gonna take it easy, my friends.

have made reservations for the night of the Christmas boat parade. the place was full, hostesses were very on the dingen to make sure that parties who had reservations were on their places as desired. has made great teamwork with the manager (audrey) who helped everyone to run the dinge smoothly. our server yvonne was fantastic! interesting about everything on the menu, gray suggestions for wine/Martini pairings for almost everything. it was perfect.

was immediately seated by the hostess. excellent service and recommended by kellnerin. Eating was great and was sent out every time without mistake in time. drinks from barkeepers are one of the best in the city. highly recommended and worth every penny.
