My friends and I booked here for my birthday as we heard about the great pizza and atmosphere. The pizza was delicious. The service was rude and disappointing to say the least. I had attempted to contact the venue via email to add a few extra to my booking, however I received no response. When we arrived, we were made to feel very uncomfortable and although we were eventually accommodated, the initial response and rudeness of staff impacted the rest of our experience. Staff were unfriendly, made us feel like a burden and did not appear to have any insight into hospitality/customer service. Whilst the pizza was amazing, the service was so terrible that we will not be back and do not recommend...
As a caveat, the restaurant let us have a table for two without a prior reservation. The pizza was good quality but the ragu was not generous with minimal sauce and flavour. We spent about $80 overall and stayed about 40 minutes total. While waiting for someone to bring the machine or explain how to pay the bill left on the table, a staff member asked us to hurry up as the table was booked. Poor service and not a terribly exciting meal. I would have appreciated being told in advance that the table was booked and so known to go elsewhere if it was available for less than an hour.
Booked for dinner when it was a 40 degree day and I am pregnant.Was not informed we will be sitting outside on the online booking as we would of not booked if we had known. On arrival to restaurant, manager was not empathetic at all and basically said we only booked two hours ago which is enough time to call to inform us. Ordered drinks and only just delivered and when asked if we still had to pay for the drinks as we’re leaving, another staff member laughed and said “we’ll you can’t expect to order drinks and not pay for it”. Such poor customer service!! Will not come back.
As we were unable to visit this restaurant on Mothers Days with friends we took the opportunity to visit on our last night in Adelaide. The staff are were attentive and extremely friendly, the food we ordered was very good with plenty of taste and the serving very reasonable. It’s also a BYO restaurant but they have a good selection of wine, spirits and beer and I recommend that you book ahead. Mark and Anne Sydney Australia
