this charming restaurant was close, but friendly accommodated us. not only that they were helpful by explaining the menu in English that was a relief from my French rustic. my man chose the wild boar and I chose to have the filet steak. what a perfect choice, as it probably up there with my top 3 steaks of all time. tender, tasteful and accompanied by a pretty tasty mushroom sauce. (at the same time the wild boar was also “loved”. big veg made only the little bit especially with the inclusion of cranberries! All in all amazing good eating I would come back in a heartbeat!

booked a table of four, very nice furnished with open fire for grill meat, very busy night, full house, friendly service, good wine list and eating choice. three appetizers, razor mussels, foie grass and truffled canneloni were very good, very good main thing, steak and...veal excellent and all interesting cooked and well presented with the choice of sauces. desserts in the house and made again without accusations. service a tad slow, but could see that the staff was under pressure, but it didn't matter that we were celebrating. a very pleasant evening.

I'm not gonna make a reservation, but I still have a table. I discover this restaurant by chance, but, as everyone knows, there is no chance: I had to eat in this restaurant; I come back with a big banana like that, and as rarely it was given to me to have. impeccable service, perfectly mastered kitchen. a great special up to the person responsible for cooked meat with wood fire: a perfect mastery of his art (at this level, it is art!

we have received a table from england via email for 4 days in advance a really fast answer. good work we did when everyone was busy, which gave him a really great cuddly atmosphere. we were in a few French restaurant and mostly disappointed, but not here. eating was absolutely excellent (langoustines to start and shared a cote de boeuf for the main course). will definitely come back as soon as we can. OK for steak-frites but not much else. The beef was fine and extremely tender (surprisingly, from Netherlands Germany), but that and the service was all that met the standards one expects from a restaurant at this price (we paid slightly more here than at...Bruit en Cuisine, with which there is no comparison).

eating was absolutely fantastic. we finished our meal times as if it were a race. the texture, the look, the taste of everything was excellent. exquisite. can only be described as brilliant. if you're ever in the opposite, that's one thing.

Everything is perfect in this restaurant. the room, the service and especially the kitchen. the quality in the plate, even the chopped steak for children, is of superior quality. one of our best restaurants.
