The dining area now resembles more of a diner, having lost its tablecloths and appearing a bit more sterile. It no longer has that special touch it once did. They brought our wine and simply left it on the table rather than pouring it as they used to. Additionally, they took away our side plates before our starter arrived, and I had to ask for them back to use. While the food was decent, I noticed the portion sizes have shrunk a bit. What really disappointed me was my attempt to purchase several gift vouchers for family as Christmas gifts. The waitress seemed excited about this and promised to send the manager over to assist, but when she returned, I was informed that I needed to pay in cas...
The food was impeccable, but the service was rather slow. It seemed like there was a large party upstairs, which might have contributed to the delay. However, there were only three tables occupied downstairs, and it appeared that all of them experienced slow service as well. It's unfortunate because the food was truly excellent. Would I come back? Most likely yes, solely for the food. Food rating: 5.

I had such a great experience that I even brought my dog along! The vegetarian options were delicious, and the service was excellent. We dined in for dinner, and the total cost was over £100 per person.
