Great food! I rarely visit a restaurant twice during the same visit to a city, but I went to this one twice. The first time I had great service, but the second time service was slow and my drink finally came when I was almost done with my food. I had a clear line of sight to the bar and the waiter and he seemed more preoccupied with talking to bar patrons then paying attention to tables. All in all, I would go again the next time I am in town.
We had a party of 7 on a Saturday night and the service was phenomenal. Peggy answered the phone and made sure our table was ready when we arrived. And at the end of the night with us. It is an amazing soul and a huge good for the restaurant. The dishes and drinks were delicious. Our Ziggy server handled our Shenanigans very well and delivered great service. Next time we're in town, it'll be a must again.
I usually visit the Bloomingdale site, but that day I met a friend for lunch at Oakbrook site. We sat at the bar and the bartender was absolutely wonderful. She was quick with our orders and answered our questions with ease and enthusiasm. The food (recommended by it) was excellent. The prices were suitable for meals and the restaurant had a relaxed atmosphere.
Family dinner was really nice. The starters came out quickly, but the Entrées were more waiting. The popular item in the menu were the fish chips. The Pommes were cold after my family members who ordered them. They immediately delivered a hot substitute. There was also a wait for another Pasta article. The service was not good. We sat there waiting to order.... But when the food came it was Amazing! The portions were super large and delicious! The server was nice but just didn't come by table like you'd expect. I would recommend going if you're not in a hurry but it is worth the wait.
Today stopped for lunch - immediately greeted by a great host! So cheerful and welcoming, the dining area was clean and well maintained. We ordered a Bistroburger and Cheeseburger. Both cooked perfectly and pink as desired. Our waitress was nice and we went all the way.
I've been coming to this restaurant for the past 20 years, and if you live in the area, you should definitely visit at least once a week. They have a huge and diverse menu that includes everything from salads to appetizers to burgers.
Right when we walked in we were greeted by Peggy who was so warm and welcoming. 5 stars right off the bat. They really took care of us here. Great staff. Food and drinks were great as well. Highly recommend! Reserviere jetzt einen Tisch
They used to serve delicious onion rings with a Guinness sauce, and although they’re still marketed as black and tan onion rings, the ones I received...
