I am not sure why but every time I go to an Applebee 's I am not impressed with them? After a day of helping friends do some lawn work over in the Merritt Island area, we decided to have lunch before heading back to Orlando. We all really wanted a cocktail with lunch so Applebee 's seemed to be the only place in the area that was open and served drinks. The parking lot was full but for some reason, the restaurant was not. We were seated right away and our server approached us for a drink order. She was very nice but her all black uniform was a mess. Kept seeing the commercial about these handcrafted burgers and thought that since i've been on a world's best burger hunt for the past 4 yrs, i needed to try this place. Usually don't go to Franchises to have a burger because their usually pre-made frozen burgers. Came here during a Thursday night and ordered the Blazin Texan hand crafted burger seared in onions, jalapeños, white cheddar and some special Applebees sauce. Well I must say, that the burger didn't look nothing like the picture on the website or the commercial (which i wasn't surprised about). When we got home, we discovered there was no maple glaze for the salmon, no butter or sour cream for the baked potato, and just half a container (about 2 tablespoons) of dressing for the Thai Salad, which was large enough to feed at least three people. I couldn’t taste any of the dressing at all. The salmon was dry, overcooked, and bland with no seasoning, making the missing maple glaze particularly disappointing. Fortunately, I had butter and sour cream at home; otherwise, my potato would have just been... well, a plain potato. Done! We very rarely come here due to poor service and poor food. Decided to give it another try tonight and walked away completely and utterly disappointed and disgusted with the food and service we received. Took forever to get our food and once it came out my food came out cold and had to be sent back. My wife had fajitas and the sizzling steam coming off of it smelled like dirty dishwater, and my sons food was not very hot either. Ultimately he did not like his food and we asked the server to take it off only to get a response of Sorry, it 's hit the table and he ate some already so I can 't take it off! Tried to have dinner here tonight 10/24/2018. It was a disaster. Was seated by a young man that looked like he just got off a school bus. Waited for someone to take drink order but no one would even make eye contact much less grunt as they walked by. The couple across from us had ordered their food and had been waiting for 35 minutes for their food. Still no food. They called the manager over and tried to explain that when they came in they had to actually stand in the restaurant and call the bar to get someone to just help them be seated. Needless to say we just decided to leave. I gave the manager our menus and his response was I guess you 're going to leave us . Yep. Sad
I hate giving such a low rating but this place....... Food was hardly edible, cold well just nasty. Place was very dirty with food, napkins our silverware was served on a plate that had not been washed in a while. You could actually see finger prints around the edges. Service was super, SUPER slow. I hate to rate so low but I do not recommend this place will not go back. Northern state Applebees would be ashamed of this place.
This has to be the worst place to order from during lunch. It took 30 minutes for my food to arrive, even though I ordered it online. My burger was undercooked, and the mozzarella sticks were cold. When I asked to speak to a manager, she hesitated and said, "Oh, I'm the manager." This is the second time this has happened to me at this location. I will never order from here again.
Seated immediately on the water. Ordered a Long Island ice tea, usually every-time I order this it gets demolished by the bar tender. This time I got two amazing drinks and great food. Awful service! They promote the tiki bar on their signage but there's no service there. We needed to go inside to get drinks and then bring them back outside across the parking lot. The manager seemed overwhelmed and the bartender clearly didn't want to be there. This should be a nice spot on the water but the service is consistently poor.
